Dr. Crystal Bahr was born and raised in Texas, where she attended Texas A&M University, obtaining a bachelor of science with highest honors in 2004 and a doctorate of veterinary medicine with high honors in 2008.
Dr. Bahr completed an internship in medicine and surgery at Veterinary Specialists of South Florida, near Fort Lauderdale. She practiced for nine years in Florida, then three years in Washington State, before moving to Virginia to join Goose Creek Veterinary Hospital.
Working all over the country has shown Dr. Bahr that there are many ways to approach most medical problems. It is important to her to work with clients as a team to find the right approach for their pets. She particularly enjoys helping pets with complicated medical issues to live their best lives.
Dr. Bahr and her husband have two young children, and they are all very excited to put down roots here in Virginia, near their extended family.
